Renting a condo in Playa Mujeres, explained
Playa Mujeres is a private, gated resort destination fifteen kilometres north of the Cancun Hotel Zone. Almost everything inside it is an all-inclusive hotel. La Amada is the exception: the only residential condo complex in the gate, which means the apartments here are real homes — full kitchens, laundry, separate bedrooms and a terrace — with the amenities of a resort attached to them.
We rent 7 of those condos directly for the owners. A one bedroom starts at $211 /night in low season; the 3-bedroom peaks around $957 /night at Christmas. Minimum stay is three nights, five over Christmas, New Year and Easter, and every rate already includes the private beach club, the five pools, the two roof tops, the gym, the yoga room and the kid's club.
Which view should you book?
Marina-view condos overlook the yachts and the golf course and catch the sunset — they are the largest group in the building. Jungle-view units face the reserve, are the quietest and the best value here. The pool-view apartment looks straight down at the main deck, which families with small children tend to prefer. Nothing is more than a four-minute walk from the sand.
Booking and payment
Send the dates on WhatsApp or from any apartment page. We confirm availability the same day, you hold the dates with a 10% deposit, and the balance is due on arrival. Because you are booking directly with the owners, there is no Airbnb, Booking or Vrbo commission on top — the same apartment, listed on the same platforms, at the rate the owner actually receives.

Can we arrive on a late flight?
Yes. Someone from our team meets every arrival at the apartment, whatever the hour, and the gate is staffed 24 hours.
Is the beach private?
Yes. Playa Mujeres is a gated destination and the beach in front of La Amada is for residents and their guests, so there are no day-trippers and no vendors.
How far ahead should we book?
Four to six months for Christmas, Easter and February–March. Two to three weeks is usually enough the rest of the year.
