Privacy Notice
Last updated:
Draft pending legal review. This page describes how the site works today and the booking rules already published elsewhere on it, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and some details are still to be confirmed.
This site collects very little. There are no accounts, no forms and no payments taken here — every enquiry goes to WhatsApp. What follows is exactly what happens when you visit.
Who is responsible
[RAZÓN SOCIAL PENDIENTE], with address at [DOMICILIO FISCAL PENDIENTE], is responsible for the personal data described here. Under Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), this document is our Privacy Notice ("Aviso de Privacidad").
For anything related to your data, write to [CORREO DE PRIVACIDAD PENDIENTE].
What we collect on this website
Browsing these pages does not require you to give us anything. We do not run a login, a registration form, a newsletter sign-up or a contact form. Nothing on this site asks for your name, your email address or your payment details.
Two things do happen automatically:
- Your browser stores one preference locally, under the key "la-amada-currency": the language and currency you are viewing. It stays on your device, it is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
- We use Google Tag Manager to measure how the site is used — which pages are visited and in what order. Google receives your IP address and standard browser information as part of that. Through that same container we also run the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which receives the same kind of information and lets us measure advertising.
What reaches us when you check availability
The calendar and the price on an apartment page come from our booking systems in real time. When you pick dates, your browser sends only the apartment, the dates and the number of guests to our own server, which asks those systems on your behalf. No personal data travels with that request, and you are never put in contact with those providers directly.
What happens when you message us
Every enquiry on this site opens WhatsApp. From that point the conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, and Meta processes it as the operator of that service. We keep the conversation, together with the details you send us — your name, your dates, your party — for as long as needed to answer you, arrange a stay and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Third parties that see your IP address
Loading a page necessarily reveals your IP address to whoever serves its parts. On this site that is:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics — usage measurement.
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement, loaded through the tag manager.
- Cloudinary — the photographs.
- OpenStreetMap — the map tiles on apartment pages.
- Our hosting provider — the pages themselves.
Your rights
If you are in Mexico, the LFPDPPP gives you ARCO rights: access, rectification, cancellation and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent. Send your request to [CORREO DE PRIVACIDAD PENDIENTE] with enough detail to identify you and to know what you are asking for. We answer within the term the law allows.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. Our lawful basis is your consent when you write to us, and our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Write to the same address.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Substantive changes will be visible here before they take effect.
